There are different options like General Wards, Sharing Rooms, Single Rooms and Deluxe room and Psychiatry Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
General Wards are provided with an attender bed along with the patient bed. We have separate Male and Female General Wards.
Single Rooms offer comfortable accommodation , with en-suite bathroom facilities. Every room is equipped with TV, telephone and air conditioning.
PICU has special beds with railing to prevent patients who are sedated from falling. There will be no attenders allowed to stay with the patient in the PICU. It will be a closed facility
Lounge rooms, craft and therapy rooms, and recreational facilities are provided to cater for your therapeutic and relaxation needs.
In the interests of patients health visiting hours and number of visitiors will be restricted. The visiting time will be 7:00 - 9:00 / 13:00 - 15:00 / 6:00 - 7:30. No unbooked visiting will be allowed between 8:30 pm to morning 7:00am. Visiting will also be restricted during staff change over times i.e. 8:00am-9:00am; 4:00pm-5:00pm; 8:00pm - 9:00pm.
Leave from the hospital
You may be granted accompanied or unaccompanied leave from the hospital and this decision will be made by your treating psychiatrist.
Please ensure you have given your treating nurses all current medication and advise them of any allergic reactions you may have.
On admission, Nursing Staff will search your belongings, and this may repeated at any time if clinical staff perceive / assess increased risk.
Free onsite parking is available for visitors but limited.

Laptops can only be brought into the hospital if approved by your treating Doctor. Inpatients are prohibited from using or accessing mobile phones or cameras for the duration of their stay.
You are discouraged to bring any valuable items with you during your stay. The hospital has limited safe keeping facilities and will not accept liability for loss or damage to personal items.
